Sliding systems are the versatile of all the types of exhaust extraction systems: they let you direct extraction in the exact area of the workshop that is most needed at a certain time.

In workshops and body shops that house many work stations far from each other, the sliding exhaust extraction system is surely the most ideal:

  1. It lets you quickly and easily reach any area where exhaust is emitted;
  2. When not in use, it can simply remain hanging over the work area, without hindering work or slowing productivity;
  3. If a system element breaks or deteriorates, it can be replaced from the range of WORKY accessories: nozzles, hoses and other accessories.

In detail, a sliding system is made up of 3 groups of elements: and aluminium extraction conduits, sliding structures, hoses and nozzles.

Extraction conduits: GAT1 and GAT2

WORKY exhaust fan conduits are extruded aluminium modular bars, 4 metres long and equipped with 2 rubber lips that facilitate total closure when the extractor is running. The sliding track is external, to promote greater longevity of the system sliding elements.

  • GAT1 is the range designed for lighter applications (maximum capacity 1600 m3/h);
  • GAT2, has a greater maximum capacity (2500 m3/h).

Hose trolleys, reels, touchless arms

Sliding structures are a group of hose trolleys, reels and extraction arms: each of these sliding elements helps to easily move the exhaust fan from one work station to the next.

The hose trolleys slide on extraction conduits and are connected to vehicles by hoses or fittings for the extraction arms. A special model stands out for its advanced features: GTL, the trolley complete with touchless arm to extract exhaust without touching the vehicle muffler.

Hoses and extraction nozzles

The key elements in an exhaust extraction system are the hoses and nozzles, the ones that directly extract and discharge the exhaust:

  • Extraction nozzles, in different shapes and materials, adapt to the muffler type as needed;
  • Reinforced rubber hoses are crush-proof and resistant to high temperatures;
  • Galvanised plate hoses, that discharge exhaust outside the workshop, prevent leaks or external infiltrations.
