Mobile units for welding fumes extraction
The first range of WORKY mobile fume extraction units includes 3 categories: SMOBIPLUS, SMOBIMAX and SMOBIJET and is designed for suction of welding fumes in workshops and body shops.
SMOBIPLUS is a very compact product, suitable for extracting welding fumes in lighter applications. This machine comprises a fan, filters and 3-m articulated arm to reach near the work area. Here are the technical specifications:
- 3 m Ø 150 articulated arm
- set of 4 different filters
- 1.5 hp fan maximum air flow 1500m3/h
- 95% filtration efficiency
- filtered and deodorised air can be re-emitted into the environment or, thanks to the use of the SMOBIPLUS-K accessory kit, filtered fumes can be conveyed outside through the pipe supplied with the kit
- The SMOBIPLUS-10 version is equipped with a metallic pre-filter, synthetic pre-filter and 10 kg of active carbon.
The second solution is SMOBIMAX, a range of products suitable for heavier duty applications of medium duration. This machine is equipped with a powerful motor and articulated arm and with a set of high-efficiency filters to stop fumes and fine dust created by the welding process. Here the technical specifications:
- 3 m articulated arm, single (SMOBIMAX-1B) or double (SMOBIMAX-2B)
- 4-Filter set, one with active carbon
- 3 hp fan
- 1400 m3/h maximum air flow (SMOBIMAX-1B) or 2400m3/h (SMOBIMAX-2B)

Mobile units for exhaust gas extraction
When working with cars in ignition, you need to prevent exhaust gas from spilling into the air. To do this, WORKY has implemented mobileexhaust gas extraction systems to avoid permanent installations. They work by picking exhaust gases directly from the source of production, before they can escape in the atmosphere. Plus, a portable exhaust fume extractor does not have to respect the classic obligations to which the suction systems are subjected. Specifically, it does not require:
- declaration of emissions into the atmosphere;
- installation of a roof chimney.
